The nature of the Jagex business attracts young, creative individuals and the company was keen that their workplace be bold, funky, welcoming and inspirational.
Highly committed to employee well-being, Jagex also wanted this to reflect in the design.
The design embraces a desire by the company to move away from conventional ways of working. Whilst certain elements of a standard office remain, in the form of conventional desking and working areas, much of the design lends itself to more collaborative and creative ways of working. It also encourages downtime.
An industrial theme was adopted throughout which included concrete effect flooring, wood effect wall coverings, scaffolding and wooden cladding. Colour schemes were based on industrial greys and blacks with splashes of colour, creating a contemporary, fun environment.
